The five minute version: what we do and how we pay for it
PERIOD. is built by two people in Amsterdam, Lisa and Diederick. No investors, no agency, no team of forty. Lisa conceived what the app should be, Diederick built it. Thousands of hours went in, and they are nowhere near done.
The reason the app exists is simple: almost every cycle app makes money from you in a way you do not see. Ads, or data shared with parties you do not know. We believed the data about your body should belong to you alone. So no ads, no data trading, no third party trackers in the app, servers in the European Union, and an AI that never learns from your data. That is not a marketing line. It is in our privacy policy and you can check it.
But servers cost money. Every day. Running the app for tens of thousands of women, letting the assistant answer, translations in 19 languages, security tests, maintenance whenever Apple or Google changes something. If you do not want ads and you do not want data trading, only one honest way remains to pay for it: some people pay for extra features, and that keeps the basics free for everyone.
That is what PERIOD. plus is. Not a wall, but a choice. Whoever takes plus pays for herself and keeps the free version running for someone who cannot or will not pay. About one in fifty users chooses that. Everything runs on it.

Then why do I see a screen with a price?
Because we show you PERIOD. plus once. Below that screen there is a button to continue with the free version. That button is always there. You fill in nothing and no trial starts unless you start it yourself.
Will the free version disappear later?
No. That is the promise we made in March 2026 and it still stands. What was free stays free. New extra features may belong to plus or baby, the basics do not.
I already deleted the app. What happens to my data?
Delete your account in the app or through the page below and everything is gone. No copy, no waiting period, no email trying to talk you out of it.
